Vland Attends 21st (2024) China Animal Husbandry Expo

The 21st (2024) China Animal Husbandry Expo & 2024 China International Animal Husbandry Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Expo) was held from May 18 to 20 at Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center, Jiangxi, China. Themed by "Integrated Enhancement and Fusion Development", the Expo attracted over 200,000 attendees from across the world. Mr. Huang Bingliang, Honorary Chairman of Qingdao Vland Biotech Inc, attended the opening ceremony on May 19.

At the Expo, Vland unveiled new products and technologies on animal health care for the first time this year, aiming to continuously deliver comprehensive biosolutions for biosecurity, disease prevention & treatment, antiviral growth promotion, and detection.

Disinfection

[Disinfectants]

Heze Puen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Vland, focuses on the R&D and production of disinfectants. Among the products are compound potassium peroxymonosulfate powder for ASF prevention recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China, Puen Nongfu, a disinfectant unaffected by temperature, and Weijibao, which combines foaming, cleaning, and disinfection functions.

Prevention

[Vaccines]

By integrating new technologies, processes, and materials, Vland's vaccine manufacturing capabilities have continuously improved. Among the products are inactivated poultry vaccines using large-scale cell suspension culture technology, protein-based subunit swine vaccines against circovirus and diarrhea using high expression and purification technology, and soon-to-be-launched swine vaccines developed with industrial-scale high-density fermentation technology.

Regulation

[Plant extracts]

Weifang Noted Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Vland, focuses on the R&D and production of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and natural plant feed ingredients. Notably, echinacea oral solution and echinacea powder developed by Noted, classified as first-class new veterinary drugs, are widely used to enhance immunity and shorten the infection cycle of viral diseases. Thanks to process optimization, the stability of cichoric acid and the contents of cichoric acid and caffeic acid in the echinacea oral solution have been significantly improved. Additionally, there are also plant extracts that can be used as functional ingredients or additives in the manufacturing of veterinary drugs, feed additives, and feed.

Detection

[Nation-level research center]

Timely and accurate detection is the foundation of effective prevention and control. The CNAS certified animal disease lab of Qingdao National Engineering Technology Research Center for Animal Health Co., Ltd. was established based on the National Research Center for Animal Health Care Products and Shandong Technology Innovation Center for Animal Health Care Products. The lab is committed to deliver third-party detection services for the livestock and poultry industry, including animal disease detection, veterinary drug residue detection, and feed & agricultural product detection services, covering 66 standards and 262 parameters.

Qingdao KDN Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. unveiled two new products at the Expo: Toltrazuril Suspension and Compound Butaphosphan Injection, contributing to cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the breeding industry.
