Vland, JD Digits Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Jointly Build Digital Agriculture and Husbandry

On May 11, 2020, Vland and JD digits signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Qingdao.

To grasp the opportunity that China has endowed to develop agriculture, AI and big data technologies, Vland and JD digits have established a close cooperative partnership based on the principle of "complementarity, mutual benefit, sincere cooperation and common development". They make full use of the core resourcesand technical advantages of both parties to achieve business complementarity and integrated development. The two parties will conduct extensive cooperation in the fields of digital agriculture, intelligent breeding and planting, precision feeding, manure treatment, animal disease prevention and control, big data, and IoT for common development.

Chen Gang, President of Vland, and LuoYang, General Manager of JD Agriculture and Husbandry Academic Research program,signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. The signing ceremony was also attended by Huang Bingliang, chairman of Vland, Li Jialong, vice general manager of JD Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Academic Research program, and heads of relevant departments of both parties.

The cooperation mainly includes:

* taking the lead in the establishment of new standards for intelligent breeding and planting, building industrial demonstration bases and promoting the development of intelligent breeding and digital agriculture, so as to enhance the level of mechanization, automation and intellectualization of the agriculture and animal husbandry industry;

* integrating resources to build a credibility system for planting, breeding, processing and sales through the implementation of intelligent breeding solutions, jointly promoting the establishment of a traceability system to ensure food safety, achieving product brand premiums, thus injecting new digital momentum into the development of the industry;

* achieving waste-free feeding through the combination of biometric algorithm and nutriology knowledge, developing high-quality feed and additives and realizing precise nutrition feeding so as to reduce costs and improve efficiency for the industry; committing to the R&D and application of breeding and planting site monitoring technology, environmental and water monitoring technology and related equipment, building an online automatic monitoring system, using precise biometric algorithms to detect diseases and management deficiencies in advance and at the same time to provide timely warnings and to propose solutions;

* improving the existing environmental sewage treatment system by enhancing the quality of manure treatment and the level of fermentation through the combination of intelligent equipment and biotechnology, thus creating a new intelligent environmental treatment system;

* jointly creating industrial service platforms for different lines, so that all links in the industrial chain can realize value, thus providing multi-dimensional data and technological support for government, industry and enterprises, targeting different customers with a package of solutions and jointly building an “agriculturaland animal husbandry ecosphere”.
