OUC Party Secretary Tian Hui Visits Vland

On April 25, 2022, a delegation from Ocean University of China (OUC), led by Mr. Tian Hui, Secretary of CPC Committee of OUC, visited Vland.

The two sides engaged in a discussion after the visit to Vland’s R&D centers of enzymes and probiotics. Vland’s President Mr. Chen Gang gave an overview of the group’s progress in team management, talent introduction, international cooperation, existing businesses as well as technologies and the roadmap to develop marine economy. OUC party secretary Mr. Tian Hui reviewed the achievements that OUC had made in scientific and technological innovation, transfer and commercialization of technological outcomes, talent cultivation and new campus construction. He expressed the hope that OUC and Vland could expand their communications and cooperation in scientific research programs, commercialization of technological results, student internships and training, and the cultivation of contract graduate and doctoral students. Mr. Wei Zhiqiang, OUC Vice President and Head of Faculty of Information Science and Engineering, gave an introduction to the faculty’s scientific research progress. Mr. Zhang Yuzhong, Dean of OUC College of Marine Life Sciences, shared the college’s development in scientific research and talent cultivation.
