Vland Selected as One of the Second Batch of Scenario Application Labs in Qingdao

On May 17, 2022, Qingdao Development and Reform Commission issued the “Notice on the Release of the Lists of the Second Batch of Innovation Application Labs and Scenario Application Labs in Qingdao”. The Qingdao Bio-Manufacturing Scenario Application Lab established by Qingdao Vland Biotech Group Co., Ltd. was on the list and classified as “public platform type” of scenario application labs.

Pursuant to the provisions of Measures for the Administration of the Recognition of Innovation Application Labs and Scenario Application Labs in Qingdao (for Trial Implementation), the public platform-type scenario application lab is defined as the lab which can provide relevant resources for the application and verification of new products (services), new forms and models of business. Underpinned by a sound service and investment mechanism, the lab can support the market verification of innovative products, iteration in technology, and application promotion. All this can effectively enable the lab to integrate advanced technological achievements and business models, seize the commanding heights of the market and inject new momentum for the city to grow.

The Qingdao Bio-Manufacturing Scenario Application Lab will share Vland’s technology development and production platforms in fields of enzymes, probiotics and intelligent bioreactors, and rely on the company's “platform + maker” organizational system to connect new industrial technologies, support market verification, technology development and application promotion of innovative products, and establish a technological innovation service system for the bio-manufacturing industry, realizing the integration of technology and capital and creating an open scenario application system.
