Vland Approved to Build the "Key Lab of Engineering Technology of Animal Health Care Products" by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs

Recently, China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued the "Notice on the Publication of the Key Labs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs". The application for the Key Lab of Engineering Technology of Animal Health Care Products co-submitted by Vland, Institute of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Shandong Agricultural University was approved.

Building key labs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs with enterprises as the main body is an important measure to enhance the independent innovation capabilities and core competitiveness of enterprises, and it is also of great significance to accelerate the progress of science and technology in agriculture.

Vland, leading the application of the key lab, is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of enzymes, probiotics, and animal health care products. With the only National Engineering Research Center of Animal Health Care Products in the industry, Vland has been awarded the titles of National Enterprise Technology Center, "Little Giant" Enterprise, Shandong Animal Health Care Products Technology Innovation Center, Shandong Postdoctoral Research Workstation, and International Science and Technology Cooperation Demonstration Base.

After years of development, Vland has established a stable and professional talent team including 29 doctors and 278 full-time R&D personnel. Its average annual R&D investment accounts for more than 8% of the operating income. Vland and its subsidiaries now have 335 authorized Chinese invention patents, 8 authorized US patents, 2 authorized European patents, 24 PCT applications, and 37 Chinese certificates of new veterinary drugs (including 3 Class 1 new veterinary drugs). Meanwhile, Vland has established cooperative relations with more than 300 entities in the industry, exported multiple technologies and products, promoted the upgrading of the products in animal health care enterprises, and improved the overall technology of those enterprises.

After optimization and integration, the "Key Lab of Engineering Technology of Animal Health Care Products" has 3 research focuses:  development of green animal health care products, clinical testing and diagnosis services, and comprehensive applied technology of green health care products.
