Active Ingredients
The vaccine contains inactivated Porcine Circovirus (Type 2, strain LG ≥105.5 TCID50/ml before inactivation).
Character
Milk white or pale pink emulsion.
Indications
For vaccination of healthy, susceptible swine aged over 3 weeks or older as an aid in the prevention of diseases associated with porcine circovirus type 2.
Adverse Reaction
No adverse reactions.
Administration
Intramuscular injection.
1. Piglets: 1 ml/head. Vaccinated at 3-4 weeks of age for the first time. A booster shot shall be administered 3 weeks later.
2. Gilts: 2 ml/head. Two injections before mating, 3 weeks apart. A booster shot shall be administered one month before farrowing.
3. Multiparous sows: 2 ml/head. Vaccinated one month before farrowing.
4. Other pigs: 2 ml/head, every 6 months.
Precautions
1. Vaccinate healthy swine only.
2. Do not vaccinate pigs of weakness, abnormal temperature or poor appetite.
3. Store and transport refrigerated. Do not freeze. Do not use when broken emulsion or color change appear.
4. Allow the vaccine to reach room temperature and shake well before use. Use entire contents when first opened.
5. A slight transit increase in body temperature and poor appetite may occur and can subside spontaneously within 48 hours without treatment.
6. In case of anaphylactic reaction, use epinephrine.
7. Burn or sterilize the used bottles and leftover vaccines before disposal.
